There is a growing body of research into comunication between creatures without nervous systems and invertebrates. The Enoki project uses mycelium data converted into sounds. Are the elaborate patterns of electrical activity used by fungi to communicate states of the mycelium and its environment and to transfer and process information in the mycelial networks?
